Range Rover SV 615 LWB

The SV is the uppermost tier of the Range Rover L460 range, above Autobiography, developed by Special Vehicle Operations; it has been called P615 since the 2024 model year. In long wheelbase form, it measures 5,252 mm with 3,197 mm between the axles, with two rear configurations: five seats, or SV Signature Suite in four seats arranged around a full-length console, electrically deployable club table and integrated refrigerator.

The 4,395 cc S68-type V8 biturbo is rated at 452 kW, or 615 hp, for 750 Nm, the same value as the P530: the difference is at the top of the rev range and in chassis tuning, not in low-end thrust. Eight-speed automatic gearbox, all-wheel drive, rear-wheel steering up to 7.3 degrees, 2,785 kg unladen and 265 g/km of CO2 certified.

The SV stands apart from the rest of the range by its finish: ceramic controls, mosaic marquetry, plated metals, leathers treated close to aniline, and 1,600 W Meridian Signature audio with 35 speakers, including two 20 W speakers in each of the four headrests, complemented by third-generation active noise cancellation. The SV Bespoke programme offers custom colours, contrast roof, matching mirrors and wheel inserts.

On an SV, the difference between two cars is in the execution: wheel size, rear configuration, SV Bespoke colours. Very large wheels change comfort on rough roads and the price of a set of tyres, a trade-off to consider before choosing an example.

For tax purposes, 265 g/km puts the car at the ceiling of the 2026 CO2 penalty, i.e. 80,000 euros from 192 g/km; for a vehicle already registered abroad, the scale applied is that of the year of first registration, reduced by a depreciation coefficient. The tax on kerb weight is due from 1,500 kg, in bands of 10 to 30 euros per kilogram.
